Our Misson

Our mission is to create a community to share the joy of stitching and empower the crafting of beautiful, handcrafted pieces.

About Us

JOANN stores closed in the spring of 2025, leaving hundreds of towns and cities without a place to buy fabric or community. Many sewists and quilters were out of luck, inventory, or an outlet. With thousands of people without a job, a few former JOANN and Husqvarna Viking machine dealers decided to fill the gap where they could.

A community was left without a safety net and we knew there was just no substitute for the touch and feel of fabric as well as the perks of color matching in-person. Three stores were originally opened in the summer of 2025 under the name Ultimate Sewing Gallery: Phoenix, Az, The Woodlands, Tx, and one in Waco, Tx.

The Waco store started small with what we could get in, and because of a wonderful community of sewists, quilters, and embroiderers we were able to get more and more fabric and supplies. So much so, that we ended up running out of space, and moved into to a larger location.

We are sewists, quilters, embroiderers, stitchers, and crafters ourselves so we know the importance of having a safe spot to land for support, learning, and supplies; so we strive to be that for you. We are whole heartedly committed to promoting the arts of sewing, embroidery, and quilting within our community. We offer a variety of classes tailored to all skill levels, encouraging creativity and collaboration among enthusiasts.
